With over 20 years of expertise, TKC Metal Recycling is Niagara Region’s premier recycling facility. We’re equipped to properly handle all e-waste and electronic recycling needs. Whether you’re a homeowner or a local business, we make e-waste recycling easy.
How does it work?
At our recycling facility, electronics undergo dismantling into their individual components for proper disposal. The materials found in these products include steel, aluminum, copper, and glass, which are then repurposed for other uses. We carefully handle any hazardous materials and dispose of them in a safe and responsible manner.

E-Waste Recycling FAQ
How does e-waste affect the environment?
Electronic waste that isn’t disposed of properly can leak toxins such as mercury and lead, negatively affecting the environment. Properly recycling old electronic products not only helps protect the environment but allows for the reuse of certain components.
How do I reduce the impact of e-waste?
If an electronic device still works, your best bet is to donate the product. If the equipment is broken or doesn’t function properly, the best practice is to recycle it at a nearby recycling center that accepts e-waste.
How much of e-waste is recycled?
TKC recycles the salvageable parts of the electronics we receive (steel, aluminum, copper, and glass) and safely disposes of the remaining components.
Can I get paid for recycling e-waste at TKC Metal Recycling?
Yes! Our recycling professionals will determine the value of what you bring us with a weighted scale that shows you exactly what you’ll get for your electronic waste. We offer competitive prices at our facility so you can expect the best return for your scrap.
What e-waste can’t be recycled?
E-waste such as floor standing printers, copiers or multifunction devices, any items containing PCBs (ballast, capacitors), and mercury switches.
Where do I bring my old electronics?
