TKC Metal Recycling buys scrap and electronic waste from numerous sources including the Public, Peddlers, Industrial, Municipal / Government, Demolition and Auto Salvage Yards. The following list the various types of metals and electronic waste we buy.


FERROUS

#1 heavy melt ISRI #200

  • Alloy free carbon steel, ¼” and over
  • Max dimensions 4’x2’
  • Pipe of 4” and over

Shred Feed Material IRSI #211

  • Iron and steel scrap, originating from automobiles, miscellaneous baling and steel scrap

Baled Post Consumer Can Bundles – IRSI #213

  • Clean, hydraulically compacted, 100 % post consumer steel tin cans (food and Beverage)

Auto cast ISRI #263

  • Clean drums and rotors that do not contain steel parts and attachments

White goods

  • Household appliances such as, water heaters, washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators, freezers with tags indicating refrigerants have been removed

Oversize torching / shearing Steel

  • Material to be processed to meet the specifications for #1 heavy melt

Plate and structural ISRI #231

  • Cut plate and structural , 4ft and under

Machine Shop Turnings ISRI #219

  • Clean loose Turnings, free of iron borings, nonferrous metals, scale and must not contain excessive oil/lubricants.

Mixed clips

  • New production, black or galvanized steel clips, blanks, stamping, skeletons, light gauge piping
  • Max thickness of ¼”

Car bodies

  • The removal of fuel, batteries and tires are required otherwise deductions will be made

No. 1 Mixed bushelling ISRI #207

  • Clean, prompt “alloy free” industrial steel scrap ¼” and under in thickness
  • Steel scrap size: 12” and under

Oversized plate and structural

  • Material requiring preparation to meet specifications for plate and structural

Iron Borings ISRI #267

  • Clean cast iron or malleable iron borings and drillings, free of steel turnings, scale, lumps. Must not contain excessive oil or coolant.
